Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of the Unknown Sender website and, when bookings open, your participation in the Unknown Sender experience. By using this website or purchasing a ticket, you agree to these terms.
Unknown Sender is operated by Treadwell21, United Kingdom. Contact: hello@unknownsender.co.uk.
About the experience
Unknown Sender is a real-world, story-led mystery played on foot through a UK city. Players receive messages on their phone and follow clues through real streets and venues. Each session lasts approximately 90–120 minutes.
Participation requires a smartphone with mobile data, sufficient battery, and the ability to walk and stand for the duration of the session. Players are responsible for their own safety, including observing traffic rules and the law at all times.
Eligibility
Players must be 18 years of age or over. By booking, you confirm that you and every member of your team meet this age requirement.
Waitlist
By submitting your email address on this website, you agree to receive occasional emails about the launch of Unknown Sender. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by emailing us.
No payment is taken at the waitlist stage and no purchase is implied.
Tickets and bookings
When bookings open, tickets will be sold through this website in pounds sterling (GBP). Payments will be processed securely by Stripe. A booking is confirmed once payment has been received and a confirmation email has been issued.
Refunds and cancellations
You may cancel your booking for a full refund up to 48 hours before the booked start time. Within 48 hours of the start time, tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another adult player by contacting us.
If we cancel or reschedule a session for any reason, we will offer you either a full refund or a transfer to another available date.
Conduct during the experience
Players must behave lawfully and respectfully towards other players, members of the public, and staff at any venues featured in the experience. We reserve the right to end a session, without refund, if a player behaves in a way that is unsafe, abusive, or that puts the experience or other people at risk.
